Hello and welcome. This website is for those who wish to learn the art as I am doing myself. Have you been looking for contortionist webistes and still have not found a good one that tells you how to get started? They are rare. Here you will be supplied with links to other websites that may be of help to you and how to's. This site is mostly for my students however, as a resource for all their contorting needs. World of Contortion Student Mastery Levels

If you are in my contortion class, we will be starting from scratch. We will first become very flexible with basic leg stretches, arm stretches, and back stretches with Level One. I believe before, we started building a house without a foundation so this time, we are going to do it right. We will establish endurance and strength through conditioning and pre-stretching workouts. We will need to pass a Level One test to move on to other levels. Level Two will consist of getting into and out of bridges fluidly. We will also work on different kinds of bridges. Level Three will focus on perfecting walk overs. Level Four we will master all three splits as well as over splits, carrying us into hand balancing. We will then move to more advanced back bends and over splits. Then we will work with each other in Levels Eight. Then will work on our Routine in Levels Nine and Ten.

Stretching. Stretching. Stretching. Stretching. Straddle. Straddle. Further. Push Further. Almost there. Stand up and hit your front splits. Deep Breathe. Slide down...down...down....down....hands touch the ground for support...down,down, an inch from the ground... come on you got this just let go.. no don't that would hurt... push just a little further. YES! Oh my gosh! You did it you hit your front splits for the first time. YES! Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. I can't believe this......
Four Months Later.
Let's stretch today. Go into straddle and stretch it out. Wow the legs are tight. Stretch. Stretch. Ow... Stand up slide down.. down... down ... put the hands down for support...down..stop. GO DOWN! Not an inch... down...no movement.. can't hit the splits...
they are gone....

Don't stop doing something you love like contortion because you can lose it in an instant. Keep up on the stretching. You love it so don't lose it.

NEWS! JUNE 2nd

We are now officially beginning contortion itself. So prepare yourself for testing! Start pushing yourself in training and preparing for performances. Please start attending practices regularly and eating better, focusing on your fitness. New food logs will be handed out TODAY. We will also be weighing in and measuring. We will do cardio and work out the arms, abs and a little bit of legs. Let me know if you can provide healthy snacks for us today. Sorry about the late notice. Please have Food Logs Ready to turn in. We will also be filling out our goals for the week and if we met them last week. Thank you see you at 11.

TESTING NEWS! Must Check

Those of you who are preparing for a test next week congratulations. It will be difficult so stop relaxing and study.
There will be no fitness that day. We need the whole three hours for testing. It will start at 10 but I will be at your house by 9 30 to pick you up. There will be warm-up, personal warm-up to work out any problems, routine overview, then the try outs begin. There will be evaluation next where the test takers will go through all the requirements to see if they pass. Next will be the routine. Each test taker will do the routine and will have the option to redo the routine once if they wish. The final part of testing will be an hour hard-core work out that will test your limits. STUDY! Get Nervous!
